Exporting Attribution Data

Introduction

Export your attribution data for deeper analysis in Excel, Google Sheets, or business intelligence tools. Pro users can export up to 5,000 orders at a time.

How to Export

  1. Go to Attribution dashboard
  2. Set your desired date range
  3. Apply any filters (source, medium, campaign)
  4. Click the Export CSV button
  5. Your browser will download the CSV file

Export File Contents

The CSV file includes these columns:

For larger exports, break your date range into smaller chunks.

Using Exported Data

In Excel

  1. Open Excel
  2. File → Open → Select your CSV
  3. Data will load in columns
  4. Use Pivot Tables for analysis

Sample Pivot Table:

  • Rows: source, medium
  • Values: Sum of revenue, Count of order_id

In Google Sheets

  1. Open Google Sheets
  2. File → Import → Upload
  3. Select your CSV file
  4. Choose “Replace spreadsheet”

Sample Formulas:

=SUMIF(F:F, "facebook", E:E)  // Total Facebook revenue

=COUNTIF(F:F, "email") // Count of email orders =AVERAGEIF(G:G, "paid", E:E) // Average paid order value

In Data Studio / Looker

  1. Create new data source
  2. Upload CSV file
  3. Create charts and dashboards
  4. Schedule regular exports for fresh data

Automating Exports

API Access (Agency Plan)

Agency plan users can access attribution data via API:

GET /api/attribution?shop=yourstore.myshopify.com&days=30

Response includes JSON array of orders with attribution data.

Scheduled Reports

Coming soon: Automated weekly/monthly CSV exports via email.

Data Privacy Notes

  • Exported data contains customer emails
  • Handle according to your privacy policy
  • Don’t share raw exports publicly
  • Delete exports when no longer needed
