Creating a Slack Webhook
- Go to Slack API
- Click Create New App → From scratch
- Name it “TrackShift Alerts”
- Select your workspace
- Click Incoming Webhooks
- Toggle Activate Incoming Webhooks ON
- Click Add New Webhook to Workspace
- Choose a channel (e.g., #tracking-alerts)
- Copy the webhook URL
Configuring in TrackShift
- Go to Settings → Alert Preferences
- Paste your Slack webhook URL
- Set your thresholds
- Click Test Webhook
- Verify message appears in Slack
- Save settings
