Step 1: Install from Shopify App Store
- Visit the TrackShift app listing
- Click “Add app”
- Review the permissions and click “Install app”
Step 2: Authorize the App
TrackShift requires the following permissions:
- Read orders – To validate purchase tracking
- Write pixels – To install Web Pixels on your store
- Read customer events – To access checkout event data
- Read products – For product data in tracking events
Step 3: Complete the Welcome Wizard
After installation, you’ll see a 3-step wizard:
- Welcome – Overview of what TrackShift does
- Scan Scripts – Paste your existing tracking code
- Choose Plan – Select Free, Basic, or Pro
Step 4: Start Your First Scan
Navigate to the Scanner page and either:
- Paste your Additional Scripts code directly
- Let TrackShift detect scripts automatically
