What Are Shopify Web Pixels?
Web Pixels are Shopify’s modern approach to tracking. They run in a secure sandbox environment and have access to all customer events without requiring checkout customizations.
How to Install Web Pixels
- Complete a script scan first
- Navigate to Migration in the menu
- Review the generated Web Pixel code for each provider
- Click “Install Pixel” for each provider you want to activate
Web Pixel Events
TrackShift’s Web Pixels track 13 Shopify Customer Events:

Verifying Installation
After installation:
- Open your store in a new browser tab
- Browse to a product page
- Add an item to cart
- Begin checkout (don’t complete purchase)
- Return to TrackShift → Validation
- You should see events appearing within 1-2 minutes
